2024 NY Bike SummitAlbany,NYNybc@nybc.net

At the 2024 Bike Summit you'll have an opportunity to learn from experts and fellow advocates to move bicycling forward in your community. Whether your passion is lowering the speed limit in your hometown, starting or improving your community bike shop, getting a new bike club off the ground, there will be a panel or plenary to connect you with resources and knowledge.

And of course, no NYS Bike Summit would be complete without a group ride. Join us as we roll along the beautiful Hudson River and the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail.

2024-09-14CycleAbility Challenge709aKent,CTTeresa Gilli

70 mile charity bicycle ride to benefit Special Olympics New York. Starting and ending in Kent CT (9AM start) We ride on lovely rural roads and also along the bicycle trail for some of the ride. Support vehicles with water, bananas, goo, sunscreen, gatorade, etc. A nice light lunch at one of our friends houses in Copake NY at mile 35, then back to Kent. After ride libations and celebration at Kent Pizza as we are typically back by 3 or 4pm.

Please consider this ride. Mostly riding at a C pace, although we do have some very friendly B riders that like to circle back. Some members of WCC have done this ride for years and are on the committee.

Can you help us raise funds by asking your friends to sponsor you. Requested minimum amount to raise is $500, but more is extraordinary.
