May Dinner Meeting: Prevent Overuse Injuries
Register Now!Tuesday, May 13
Please join us Tuesday, May 13th for a presentation on complementary training to reduce and/or prevent overuse injuries and improve performance. Due to the repetitive nature of cycling, many cyclists experience 'overuse injuries,' especially relating to the lower back, neck, hip and knees. These symptoms can range from mild to severe; and may result in impaired performance on the bike, as well as aches and pains during the performance of activities of daily living. In some cases the pain may be so disabling that one would require care from a health care professional. At this month's meeting, Seth Wolin, D.C., a WCC member and chiropractic orthopedist will present essential information regarding how to prevent these injuries and concurrently improve performance on the bike. Cash bar opens at 6:30 p.m followed by a gourmet pizza dinner with salad served at 7:00 p.m. Our speaker will take the floor at 7:30 p.m. Soda, dessert, coffee, tax and tip are also included for the price of $15 per person. You can sign up on the WCC web-site or via email or phone to Leslie at Leslies28@msn.com or 914-576-5947. We look forward to seeing you there.
