- 9aB+/187676.076.00Armonk to RowaytonMark Edwards
One of my favorite places to visit as the weather warms up. Upper B+ pace with occasional slow rolling to stay together, total route elevation is on the low side at approx. 62 ft/mile. We'll take a break for fuel and coffee at mile 47 at Rowayton Market
- 9:30aB/165050.050.00Joe Needs To Be BackEvan Krakovitz
Joe is needed somewhere by someone tomorrow so we will start near his town for a change.
Meet at the parking lot South County Trailway Elmsford ( exit 23 off Saw Mill )
Link to start: https://maps.app.goo.gl/iSAZtREvsSZTribL9?g_st=i
Out and back: Cross Cuomo then down to Piermont and 9W south past GWB then loop back up Hudson River Drive for scenic river views back to 9W Market ( or Bunbury in Piermont ) for a break. Cross Hudson back to the start.
We can paceline on 9W but nothing too serious...racer wannabes may prefer a mdifferent ride
Bring the route/fluids/carbs/a bike thats ready to ride/ phone/etc. Start on time for Joe's sake.
- 9:30aB/164343.343.30May As Well a bit fasterOrrie Dinstein
As i have barely been riding this season, Bob's ride seems just right... not too long, not too hard... I posted the pace as 16 which is what i expect to muster. We may go a bit faster but only if the group (meaning me) can keep up. We will stay together as a group. We can take a short break in Scotts Corner or we may just ride through given the relatively short distance - group decision.
- 9:30aC+/13.54343.043.00May As WellRobert Hermann
This circular route is new and different, though much of the terrain is familiar. After the first 1/2 mile, it uses roads with the least car traffic. Elevation gain, acc. to RWGPS, is 60 ft/mile, but I cannot tell a lie: it's pretty hilly at spots (hey, it's May, already). That's why let's figure on doing a 13.5 mph average. If someone wants to form a speedier group in the lot, go for it. Regrouping will be as needed to keep us together. We'll take a break in Scotts Corner at Breads n' Bakes.
- 10aC-/11.33029.929.90Early Cinco De Velo due to rainBruce Wells
For Cinco De Velo this year, we will visit one of the best taco trucks around: https://www.donjuanselazteca.com It is located in the parking lot of a muffler and tire shop. Only the best dive taco trucks for us!
Due to predicted rain on May 5th, we will celebrate a day early. Bring cash, as I am not sure they accept credit.
Feel free to clone and pick a different pace, or leave from Bedford if you want more miles. The section in and out of Norwalk will be a bit more urban, but roads to and from are classic Fairfield county riding.

- 3pO/101414.314.30New Member Orientation RideBrian Juszcyk
Are you new to Westchester Cycle Club? This ride is for you. We will provide an introduction to safe riding and expected practices on WCC group rides, then break into groups by level of speed and experience. You can expect to learn how WCC rides work and which level ride you might choose for your first regular club ride.
Anyone who can ride a few miles on their bike is welcome--we'll break up into groups at different distances, so you do not necessarily have to ride 15 miles. Please come with a bicycle in reasonably good repair, a helmet (required), a water bottle, and comfortable clothes for riding. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to gear up and sign in. We will meet in lot "West 1" on the SUNY Purchase College campus. Look for the cluster of cars with bicycles.
Advanced Signup is mandatory.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. If you're an existing ride leader interested in helping out, please ping me directly to see if we'll need the help on this ride or not.

An spring evening ride on the trailway is like dessert for the day- A cupcake with icing- A mango sorbet.
I'm going to try to post this every week, so please join me if you can. You can think of this as a recovery ride from the weekend, a training ride for a Bike Path Centuryor anything in between.
My only goal is enjoyment, so I am happy to accomodate and adjust speed/distance to the needs of the group. We will ride south or north or maybe both.
Be ready to roll at 6.
